Learn How To Dance Salsa!
This popular Latin American dance is danced all over the globe and now you can learn the dance steps right here in Ludvika!
We will work on salsa steps individually and with a partner. Week by week we will build on a dance routine. We aim to ensure you have solid dance foundations in terms of body positioning and good, safe technique.
You do not need a partner to sign up for the course. The class is designed so that you are always rotating partners so you will have danced with multiple dancers in one session. This is the best way to build up your dance skills so that you become a versatile dancer.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Wear comfortable shoes. Bring a water bottle.
The course is designed for those with basic salsa dance experience who have learnt steps such as mambo step, cucuracha, open out, back across together and a forward turn, all with a partner.
All sessions are led in English so some knowledge of the English language is required.

We create public education together in study circles that are driven forward through the exchange of knowledge. The study circle is the popular education movement's classic course form and can be about big and small, local and global. It can be carried out at meetings or remotely and the individual participant can influence the structure and content of the circle according to a democratically inspired model.
Medborgarskolan is a humanistic study association that gives you the opportunity to learn, develop and exchange experiences and thoughts with other people. We have a wide range of activities and cooperation with associations and organizations in many different subjects.
