Om arrangemanget
Do you want to try acting? This theatre course is suitable for both beginners and experienced participants.
Content
We will playfully explore the world of acting. We'll do different exercises both in groups and individually, as well as test different dialogues and monologues from different scripts.
The course ends with a small performance, inviting loved ones, if the group wants to.
- The course is held on the same day and time every week.
- Any breaks are decided in the group and by the leader.
- The last course session is a performance if the group wants.
- The course is for adult participants.
- All sessions are led in English so knowledge of the English language is required.
Previous knowledge
No prior knowledge is required.
Course leader
Martin is an experienced actor with many years on stage, both as a scriptwriter and improviser. He has studied theatre at Wendelsbergs teater och skolscen and at Göteborgs folkhögskola . Martin loves to work creatively with others, highlight everyone and make sure everyone understands the purpose of what they do.
There is something special about our course leaders! All our course leaders undergo Medborgarskolan's introductory course and work based on Medborgarskolan's core values.

Medborgarskolan
We create public education together in study circles that are driven forward through the exchange of knowledge. The study circle is the popular education movement's classic course form and can be about big and small, local and global. It can be carried out at meetings or remotely and the individual participant can influence the structure and content of the circle according to a democratically inspired model.
Medborgarskolan is a humanistic study association that gives you the opportunity to learn, develop and exchange experiences and thoughts with other people. We have a wide range of activities and cooperation with associations and organizations in many different subjects.
